Disclaimer: it’s NOT just for young professionals!
Hastings is a pretty awesome place. Well, we think so anyways! We know how it goes. You come to a new community and you don't know what to do or how to meet people. Or maybe you've come back home and you realize Hastings is a little different than how you left it. If you're like us, you just want to take advantage of any opportunity to enjoy Hastings!
This is why Hastings Young Professionals started Hastings Week. Join us from Thursday, September 19 - Sunday, September 29 for events that are all about Hastings. HYP can take credit for some events, but the many of this week's events are created and supported by local businesses and organizations!
P.S. We realize it's more than a week, but Hastings Week and a Half didn't have the same ring to it.

Special Scoops is officially opening their doors this Saturday! Their mission is simple and something everyone can get behind. Their special scoops will be served by special people! This is a concept we’ve seen popping up around the country and now we’ll see a new business providing unique opportunities right here in our community.
This happens every month, but we are adding it to our Hastings Week lineup because well, it’s pretty stinkin’ cool. Loosen up those thumbs and join Steeple for a game... We'll have some classic consoles set up and free-to-play all afternoon on Sunday.
We are hosting our first community-wide Business Expo and you're invited!
It is about local jobs, but it's so much more than that. Stop by between 3 and 7 pm to visit with reps from the Hastings' business community. Learn about what they do, who they are, and if you're looking for a job, they can discuss that, too. Better yet, think of it more as a social because it is from beginning to end!
The Downtown Tour is back and it's been a community favorite! It'll feature unique stops and tastings along the way. The Downtown Tour is a walking tour. Starting location is Block 27.
Feeling creative? Let's be honest. You don't have to be artistic to attend one of these! YWCA is showing off their new space after hours on September 26th. The class will be led by local artist, Kelsey King. This is perfect for a date night, a GNO, or just an excuse to get off the couch. Whatever your reason is, join us for [Y]Wine & Paint!
This an annual favorite and it happens two weekends in September! We always have this on our Hastings Week calendar because you really shouldn’t miss it. The Barn Festival truly has something for everyone and brings in thousands of visitors each year!
